Brilliant speakers. My only other observation is that they are fairly large for desktop speakers, so measure your desk to ensure they don't take over. They had come alive. The packaging was great - unlike that of the speaker stands (see separate review) - and on first inspection the quality of the enclosures seemed excellent, with a flawless paint finish complemented by decent quality connectors, especially considering the price point.

It was probably a little ambitious as the bass is definitely lacking and I feel I need the sub to match what I’ve been previously used to. I did all this for aesthetic reasons but it’s unintentionally improved my audio. When I listen to music I bump it up one and its like they massage your brain.

Justa heads up. With the EQ set flat on the remote, the sound was now rich, warm and the soundstage was vastly improved. These were bought to replace a set of ageing Harmon Kardon Soundsticks, whose subwoofer had started to splinter after many years of loyal service.

but not ideal. and they are so compact and versatile as well just go for it, you wont regret it.
